As part of the work being done in the Village, the Council are now proposing to make the experimental 2 way section of Station Road permanent. They also propose to allow right turns out of Station Road onto Warwick Road. There are a number of other proposals in this part of the Village. Summed up, the proposed changes which are subject to formal consultation starting mid June are:
1) Station Road to be made permanent two way order following initial trial during construction
2) No Right Turn Ban out of Station Road to be revoked to facilitate movements to/from public car park
3) Yellow Junction Box at junction of Station Road / Warwick Road to assist motorists accessing /egressing from junction
4) 3 x disabled parking bays opposite Iceland
5) Loading / Unloading and Taxi pick up Bay outside Iceland and Post Office on Warwick Road
6) Loading / Unloading Only bay outside Butchers on Warwick Road opposite Station Road Junction
