Green Collections Restart
The City Council’s fortnightly green waste collection service restarts tomorrow, Monday 25th February. Labour plan to charge you £35 a year for the service when wheelie bins are introduced next year, but for the time being the collections remain free.

And they are providing free sacks from April. They say one of the reasons for having wheelie bins is because sacks split. If people buy sacks chances are most will go for cheap ones more likely to split. Is that their plan so they can try to justify one of the most unpopular decisions !!
